here is my story
Are you feeling overweight, tired, or simply unhealthy? Have you tried to lose weight and failed? I was there, too. I've struggled with weight since my college days. I've tried Weight Watchers, Atkins, and many other diets, with some success. But I always gained it back, plus more. I saw a friend shrinking before my eyes and asked her what she was doing and she introduced me to Take Shape For Life. I took the health assessment, thinking I would probably be in the unsick category. I was actually in the sick category, which was a major wake-up call. At 63 years old, I decided to do something about it. I began in September 2010. The night before I started, I was mourning the loss of the food, and yet I was excited to be doing something, but scared I would fail. It has been the easiest hard thing I have ever done! I have lost over 75#. I feel wonderful. I can play with my grandkids, exercise, go shopping, and maintain energy throughout the day. I'm on my way to optimal health. I became a health coach recently, because I'm a walking billboard for the program, as everyone asks me what I'm doing. It's a privilege to help others. If I can help you in any way, let me know! As you probably know, millions of Americans are caught in an obesigenic world that is plagued with fast food options around every corner, poor eating habits, a general lack of activity, high stress environments, insufficient sleep, and a sick-care health system. In this unsupportive environment, it is no wonder that two-thirds of adult Americans are overweight, and the predicted health of future generations is even more uncertain. Optimal health can be achieved by anyone who will work the Take Shape For Life program. If I can do it, anyone can!:)
